The best bit is by going through DTD you often end up going through a dealers  fleet arm so often get your vehicle even quicker than if you were a retail customer

Anyone having any luck with getting dealers to match DTD?

I tried and was basically called a liar unless I had it in writing.

I was told that "it wasn't from a genuine vw dealership" and then they tried to waffle when i showed the quote on the vw dealership headed paper..

Anyone heard anything about the ED45 running more power? Looking at the MPG & CO2, both are worse than the standard Clubsport. Perhaps this is down to the wheels but the forged 19s must be lighter, say a good few KGs lighter than the standard Richmonds so wouldn’t you expect improved economy? Perhaps it’s running more power?

No it will be nineteens and a different spoiler...

Does it have a different spoiler? I missed that in the overview.

King Monkey, my dealer confirmed there is no difference between discounts available on the Clubsport and the ED45. I got a good discount but it did not match DTD.

I don’t think so, thought only different exhaust and different 19s as standard. Other than that it’s paint, some (or just one?) 45 badges instead of gti ones, different side stickers and GTI sewn into the headrests

I could be wrong about the spoiler.

Remember WLTP now means that the co2 figure is for the exact options list.

If you are looking at a bog standard CS, it has 18's.... and the ED45 has 19's. That will mean the mpg and co2 will be worse for the ED45.
