Title: Exhaust
Post by: Gt_Tdi on 11 May 2015, 22:18
Hi, I've got a golf mk4 GT tdi, I have remapped it and done a straight pipe through out, with the 'cat' removed as well. I'm getting the rough noise I wanted but every time I shift the gear or let go of the accelerator there's this loud owl noise coming through, I just wanted to know is there a way of getting rid of the owl noise it self?? some has suggested to put a muffler in the mid box, can someone help me out. cheers :)

Put the cat back in

Got to be honest though; you are the first to complain about the owl. Most moan they don't have it

Should remove it but then you are restricting performance.......plus you don't need it for your MOT

Just turn the radio up!!
