Some great deals on the R at the minute. Would you sell your as is or return to stick and sell the parts?

Yes getting itchy feet again
It's 5 years old now, it's the longest I've ever kept a car and it still makes me smile, I still glance back at it after I've parked it up aswell
But I think the time has come this time, I've still got most of the standard parts so may think about putting it back to stock ?

Same here, also looking at a 7R. Deal all set with great discount.

Anyone know if the 7 has the same type of tensioner?

I keep toying with changing mine but resigned to keeping it until this time next year at least - still love it but always fancy a change

Yes it does another revision on from the last of the mk6 ones. At the end if the day its an EA888 basic design even though its the 3rd generation.

Limestone grey on the 19" wheels is the best colour imo.

Due to change next year, hoping they go ahead and make this

Golf R Estate

That doesn't do it for me. The R looks even more SE spec as an estate if that's the final styling.

Golf R Estate

I like an Estate, but for what I imagine it will cost, I'd have the forthcoming Passat BiTDI 240PS 4Motion Estate.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
