changed a lot of details on the gtd:
-new windscreen(green tinted, sunband)
-perfect parcelshelf
-fitted the button for the interior trunk light
-fitted seals under the anti theft plates

Then I noticed oil in the coolant, had increasing problems with the engine, made it through the MOT though. However, it needs a new engine, badly.

So a donor(car not a kebab) was bought:


1.9 TD , AAZ engine.

Bought some parts to give it a big service:

took the engine out of the toledo:


cleaned up some bits i'm reusing:

22mm mastercylinder:


PAS steering rack, new endlinks and boots:


100mm driveshafts:


downpipe:


coolingsystem with 2 fans and larger radiator.


gearbox:


also bought some kw variant 1 coilovers:


and started working on the engine:




some more goodies on the way  :laugh:

Everything of the sb engine has found it's way onto the AAZ:






this morning:


cleaning it up, degrease, derust,prime, paint, repeat:




So I put new stuff in it, 22mm masterbrakecylinder, new coolantreservoir, new dieselfilter, PAS bracket. Also did some wiring, moded the coolant reservoirbracket so the wiechers strut bar would fit.







and then a more fun job:
