Read the small print and it says I'm not insured to take it round the Nurburgring!   :laugh:

99% of insurance policies say that.

track insurance is needed most of the time.

took car for a drive up to Birmingham to pick up new front splitter off  tdi_blu cheers agen mate  :smiley:

got back home an fitted it plus started stripping parts off front bumper etc. take a look at my build page for pics  :cool:

Removed all seats but the driver's, ready to pick up Shady Pioneers black/white leather interior...then took out the clutch slave cylinder cause it's gone and shagged itself. Hopefully back on the road tomorrow, theeeeere goes my weekend  :angry:

Painted the insides and fitted my rolled and smoothed front wings! Do I paint them tomorrow on the driveway or wait till I can get in the paintshop........

But for a guy I know - stripped down both of his rear window mech's off his MK2 to get them working again... :wink:

In the process of doing a "How To" for the MK2 Section... Had a few scary moments when all the metal wire guides fell out.. :shocked:

All Back to working order!!!  :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Fitted new leather gear gaitor  :cool:

took my time stapling it to baseplate, really nice fit, great quality leather...


all done...
