Going to look at a MY 2008 Edition 30 on Monday
27,000 miles, 1 owner, immaculate.
Looked at Edition 35 but seems that you can get a very nice Edition 30 for about £10k.

Do Edition 30 and Edition 35 have the same engine ?

A Stage 1 remap will take it to 300bhp as larger turbo, larger injectors, strengthened engine parts etc are all in place.
Thats a third of the price of a new Golf, 135iM etc. Complete Bargain.

So I will be moving to the MkV forum but staying with a GTi.
Mk6 GTi - returned to leasing company after 3 great years and replaced with :

Mk5 GTi - Edition 30 - Revo 1 and some tweaks - 310 bhp. Its a better car than the Mk6  - Now sold and replaced with :

Mk6 R - Rising Blue 5 Door. Won't be standard 270bhp for long

Family Car : Mercedes ML420 with 360 bhp
Looking at Porsche Macan as replacement
