hi all what would make ur subs keep on cuttin out?i had 2 12inch subs runin of a 800w amp and if you turnd it up and i mean not to lound thay would stop working turn it back dwn again back on?but to new subs in stil the same next thing is it seems to work when the car isnt runin?the car has got 0 gauge wire in it 1 power cap and to sets of comps and its in a mk1 any ideas?

Sounds like you might be overloading the amp and triggering a safety cut-off.

Are the subs running off separate channels? How are the subs wired to the amp? What is the impedance of the amp and subs?

got a bigger amp thanks
