managed to upgrade my front speakers today replacing them with Alpines

Thought id post a pic of the ass rocking the all clears - loving the wider stance now I've got the banded steels sorted :



dunno if I should keep this exhaust on or change it for upswept tails though??? 

also more goodies came today courtesy of a mid day cheeky bid on ebay for a Thule Luggage basket

Got the '3' up on my mates ramp in the garage this morning to check out the cat back system.......blowing a little bit and a small hair line crack beginning to appear!!.....not major but needs sorting out at some point soon! .....

managed to get the plate surrounds fitted too.........ready for pressed and show plates!



also managed to bag myself a Heckblende to go with my all reds!!!.....gotta go pick it up over the next week! exciting times!

managed to get a couple of small jobs done yesterday while the weather held out.....

Boot struts to bonnet lifters conversion - yep don't look as good as chrome lifters however they were off my old 3 thus being free  .......oh yeah excuse the dirty engine pic....haven't got around to the 16v lump yet!!!



Also managed to take out the air box - mod it slightly as I did with my 8v by adding a few extra holes and fit a pipercross panel filter



then took her out for a spin and a couple of photos of course!

So another weekend........another plan.......another mod/part........

After one hell of a journey, with nearly 300miles added to the MK7 wagon and a 10hr round trip 

I've been after one of these for so long!



And fitted on Sunday :



Super happy with the result and completely finishes off the rear end with the all reds

Finally managed to get some top trims for the skirts - looks so much better with the full kit on now

So Saturday started & ended like this with a full day of detailing in prep for its show & shine debut at my local dub show.....

didn't win anything but after all its the taking part that counts! haha......in all seriousness though it got a lot of love on the day with some awesome reviews and comments so all in all one very proud and happy owner!

another evening another impulse purchase for the golf!........Mexican MK3 rear lights - gonna save the all reds for shows 



Slight bit of condensation in the left hand side but nothing we cant fix and re-seal
