Well went to get a pair of headlights from scrap yard and the bloke wanted too much so I walked away  :grin:
To be honest I don't know if it will work or look good but worth a try.

I'm pretty sure you can't, only paint what i have painted to stay safe :)

Im sure someone on here has paint the top and bottom bit of the dipped beam section, looks great but im sure it would rather affect the light output, wouldnt it?!

I do'nt put them in the oven,i use a heat gun to get the glass off.Bear in mind that the chrome comes off easily so you can destroy a pair of lights in minutes.
