Dummy Guide to fitting remote central locking

Il be interested to hear how it comes along as im currently thinking about ditching my crappy alarm system that controls the central locked etc...

Have spoken to rclick and this plug and play eliminates loom chopping , it plugs inline with the central locking pump in the boot means zero wiring , only wiring require is if you want to have flashing indicators ..

That looks perfect for my requirements,  il have one of these  kits next month then.

Yea looks like a perfect solution as it a pain messing about with wiring under the dash and that seems easy , well I've got the rcl kit , had the keys cut , so will order that and wait for it to arrive and then when I get a vr it will be transferable !

I used the plug and play loom on my 6n Polo, was simple installation, just have to splice in 2 wires in to the indicators. Worked well and will probably get the kit for my Mk3 too.

Got the plug and play kit today , so yes it plugs an plays but few issues ,

The car locks when you press unlock and unlocks when you press lock , so need to chop the two wires and swap them over so they do what they should , not looked to see which two yet but this has been a problem for others who have chopped their own loom for fitting and put the lock an unlock the wrong way round
Other than that its so easy and amazing bit of kit  ,

Couldn't you swap the green/grey wires around in the plug?

I fitted the KE669 kit under the dash using the scotchlocks included, only took me about an hour and works a treat, including indicators

To get mine to work I had to swap the white , and white/black wires around on the loom to the control box ,

Ahh right yeah, they're the ones that connect to green/grey on the loom. I'll fit a siren at some point I reckon.
