No no no, DH can be alright. Its sharpie that needs to be watched. He's like DH's apprentice that got banged on the head and malfunctioned.

He's just Scottish, is all.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Sorry if this sounds nosey, but say somewhere would insure you - how much is too much to insure? I'm sure some places would insure for £2500+ a year, but is it worth it?

That engine looks the nuts - really hoping you can do this

£3k?! dude.. so anything £2500 is OK for a years worth of insurance? there's no way I'd be able to afford that while working 9-5 in a normal job.

i agree it'll be awesome, but too expensive imo

Don't think that works on cars modified to that extent.. it'll require a special policy.

sounds about right. i will look into it, but i just wanna get it done for now!!! if i cant get insured or wateva, then i'll go from there. may get a another golf to run around in while i wait for insurance lol!!

i tell you what, its actually hard sourcing parts that arent overpriced. the k04 manifold is hard to find. strictlydubs import them from ATP in america. they sell them for £305 + postage. not exactly cheap! but they are high flow manifolds in which you are meant to see gains, but still..........
