Surely too far for a 1.4 with a suspect head gasket.

National Express would probably be quicker.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

was looking at qpeng for the 1.8t conv. but now i think i'm going to run Megasquirt. Will much more fun and a will be a good learning experience for me. Ohh and its cheaper lol!

going for a parts search this weekend - brake parts and a few other bits, and mayb a 1.8t if im lucky, but it seems unlikely. also going to need a 16v fuel pump.

a couple body parts like a fuel cap and mayb both the wings for the respray.

Could you do me a favour please dude (if/when you get time)

Could you measure the distance from the bottom of your splitter to the floor.

I know it's a strange request but I would like to know if mine sits lower, or not.

  • Back in a Mk3...
Mine is currently 4cm...... and exhaust is about 4cm too (speed humps love the kisses  ) but for summer and any shows it comes down to about 2.5-3cm as i run with the front about 15mm higher than the back (as vw intendid )
Alex why choose megasquirt?? speak to dickie (boredwelshlad) as he's sorting some sort of special management for his supercharge conversion and i'm sure it'll be cheaper
