It's gonna look sweet LL. Can't wait to see the finished product and especially how the wheels work with it.

lol bodywork is still in progress..... been flat out and had no time for it. got lots of new bits, so pretty much got what i need. new bonnet, splitter, gti grill, etc.

in other news, engine is dead/dying/broke. thought it might have been headgasket, but having run a compression test, i dont think it is... im thinking it might be the bottom end, but not sure til i have a proper look next week.

it was running sweet, in the lanes having fun, then when i put my foot down, i had a sudden loss of power and the engine went lumpy and a strange knock to it... i pulled over within 10-20secs and turned it off. nothing leaking, nothing in the bay looked wrong.... was thinking maybe the flywheel bolts werent torqued as they should have been... i cant remember. or something else is loose...

bad times. hopefully its not the end of the engine! although would be a good excuse for a nice new one!
