Had it on the rolling road again today, .....Results:

240bhp & 273lb-ft

Bit of an improvement from the old 1.4 huh ?

Nice work.

Now hurry up and get the bodywork sorted to match the power.

yep :D

Getting the boot sorted next week and a couple other bits. Got a mate who is going to cut and weld here and there as I do not know how to weld! Going to start smoothing the new front bumper today and I am hoping to get the majority of the bodywork done by the end of next week. But really I am aiming for next month as I want to get it sprayed early May.

Will have an entire day of prepping and spraying. Hoping to get the car done in one day but it depends on what days my mate can do though as I have to work around him really. As soon as I get a date set with him, its setup the booth, get paint, materials, etc and get cracking!

haha, i joined up a while back and didnt like it, so never went on there. I got a PM the other week and I ended up having a look around the forum. Then I ended up paying for an advanced membership! its actually quite good, they have the same views as the vdub lot on barry boys crap, so its all good. Some nice cars on there. Most people I see out and about and a lot of the petrolheads around my city are on there, so its good to know them all!

btw, didnt do the bumper today as weather was a little crappy and i couldn't be assed!

although i did move the license plate lower :D

there will be progress this evening! getting my boot cut and welded and smoothed

will be moving on to my front bumper today i think too. i have cut some foam pvc at work to fill the plate recess, so i will get that in there and get the fiberglass and filler and get the bad boy smooth. a quick blast with matt black and we are done.

i really am going to force myself to be bothered to do this! :D

oh and my leccy mirrors have arrived :) just need switches and a drivers front window mech and i got all i need for leccy windows/mirrors!

ok no pics, cause i rushed the filler work and it needs a little tidying. started on the front bumper, did a little more and gave up too. so that needs more work. i might leave it to the bodywork peeps when it gets sprayed, but i will see what they say.

here is a vid my mate made with a load of clips he took at SWDubs meet on sunday. there isnt much footage of my car as we were doing the filming lol, but when you see the ending....... enjoy :)
