insurance will be on the database now :)

adrian flux had the correct reg but the insurance company (ensign) had it as URF no UFR. donkeys!

Got written confirmation from the VW confirming engine number and capacity, so will send that off with the V5 asap.

It's good to see your doing it properly!

looking very nice fella...all running well still?

What are you thinking of doing with the bottom of the intercooler...you gonna leave it poking out?

I told him he needs to get a MK3 bumper extended nearer the bottom, it's the only real way to do it but it's a lot of work.

Cheers guys! :)

Yeah the front end needs looks into, i dont really want to replace the cooler as it would mean re-routing the piping and other extra work.

as shady said, with the current cooler (due to its depth) it cant really fit anywhere else and i would need to extend the bumper out a little. unless i can mount the cooler slightly different, still get the piping to fit and get a whole bumper on.

its all running well, got a cv joint on the way out, but i just threw on a used set to get it on the road, so i knew this would happen soon. going to build up a set of mk3 1.8/1.9 shafts with new boots and joints and get them on asap. was told by rubjonny, who also stated that my current cv's are too short (i have mk2 gti ones) and this might be why they have worn quick.

other thing is my coolant gauge doesnt work properly still, but i still a few ideas on how to sort it.

need a new windscreen too :(

ohh and i lied :D got my alignment done propery TODAY.... and what a difference again!

borbets are 9's and i have no problems with rubbing or anything with them :)

ps. pics to follow of my bonnet

bonnet pics:

Cut out 70 odd 100m white squares at work (out of scrap vinyl off course) and me and my mate put them on. didnt take long, but i kinda wish i had done the lot myself  :D :D :D

Also gave my wheels a damn good clean and they do clean up sooo well, makes a hell of a difference to the cars looks! But only problem is it shows up the kerbing and the few small little marks in the wheels, so they will have to be refurbed at some point! I want them polished up

As for the color of the car, its going to be a mk5 r32 type blue, a darker shade of blue or maybe black, not decided yet. Ideally i want a darkish really rich blue; think it will go really well with the polished wheels.
