sometimes you gotta throw the book out the window

The problem occurs when you forget to wind down the window and end up with the book bouncing off the glass and tw@tting you in the face.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Dislike.
Disagree

Old school rims like Borbets and Azev A's look the shizzle on mk2 and Mk3's...after that not too sure...maybe schmidts on mk4 but anything new looks dumb other BBS

I like the wheels.. in fact I love the wheels.. I've always wanted a set of 9x16 Borbet A's on a Mk2/Jetta

I just don't think they suit a Mk3 so well

Well i got a nice problem to sort now:

Wheel bearing rear nearside is f**ked and is eating itself, so the wheel is wobbly and so the disc is f**ked as it been rubbing on the caliper and the pads are f**ked as they have worn very uneven, as one is hardly worn and the other is completely worn. So all new parts from gsf in the morning and hopefully fit the lot after work.

I got a horrible feeling that the bearing had welded itself to the stub axle, sooo much heat produced its scary, i burnt my hands just trying to look at it. Hopefully this isnt the case, or if worst comes to it, it needs a bit of "help" coming off.

So yeah its turning out to be a real success story :D

sorted the wheel bearing, etc.

i didnt make it to work in the morning, had to pull into a petrol station. wheel was hanging on by the split pin lol. So i jacked it up and took everything off, including the stub axle. problem was the stub axle was f**ked, so i had to source one of them. so i spent a while hunting all over town with my mate and found probably the only rear nearside disc stub axle in plymouth lol. so then it was back to the p station and got the lot fitted! had a bit of struggle getting the caliper on, but with a bit of hammering it went on.

Now to do the fronts for good measure i think!

ohh and will get pics of the stub axle and pads, etc to show you how f*cked they are!!
