In which case you're going to knock a fair chunk of how good it needs to look by fitting those rims.
Stretch = less good handling as the sidewalls are out of shape, so can't deform, thus the tyre won't perform properly. It won't grip as much and will let go less progressively.
Wheels that wide are totally unnecessary on a car of that weight and power. You'd be much better with a set of 16" 7" wide rims and something like a 205 width tyre in ~50 profile. This will give you a lighter rim, so better suspension compliance etc and a pretty reasonably priced tyre.
Driving-wise you'd be better off hunting down a 'box with a Quaife fitted, which will make things far more interesting and fun than spunking money on some over-blown rims.
