I was liking the red bonnet and the matte black paint
Looking good man, but why is your intercooler at that odd angle?
Not low enough mk5
Not on the road enough mk3

Restecp. From this:

Hi all,

I'm in deep water here, not sure what to do. I want to lower my car 40/40 but not sure if it is possible to do myself?!?!
Can I just buy a hottuning lowering kit and fit it myself or is it harder?

To fully functioning 18T conversion. Fair play

Quality post! Thats what its all about, getting in there and having a go yourself. I've been keeping an eye on this thread but haven't posted yet so congratulations on what you've done so far. :afro:

its just the way i had to mount it really in order for it to be secure and to fit in the front end. i had to cut lots of the slam panel out and also the front bumper had to be trimmed, which meant no splitter. im going to try and relook at the fmic fitment and see if i can make it sit without that angle and be able to fit a bumper/splitter.

its funny when i think back when i first got my car (over 2 years ago!), and what i knew about it then and how much i know now. im so glad now i did the conversion, all the money spent, time put in to it, etc, all seem worth while.

not meaning to be nosey, but whats the approximate amount you've spent doing the conversion (not including insurance etc) ?
