good to see its still goin, cant resist a matt black gti man lookin nice, good luck with the rest of the install man.

cheers m8. its just getting time to do it and trying to manage borrowing tools like an engine crane and getting someone to help me with putting the engine in. should be in this week i hope!

get new flywheel on wednesday now, all good

yeah, dont really put much time into it. its trying to find time and also being bothered :D

the engine conversion doesnt really start until wednesday, when the engine goes in (providing no more f**king problems!)

but i WILL be going ED38! even if it means sleepness nights beforehand getting it done lol.

once the engine is in and connected. just gotta sort out the brake piping, connecting zaust to downpipe and fitting cooler/boost piping. :cool:

not too long now!


making dh help on a mk3 is priceless!!

Make sure you threadlock the bolts, or oil will seep through and on to your clutch eventually.

yeah i would have thought so.


ohhh and....

THE ENGINE IS IN!!! LOL :D going to have a look at plumbing/connecting it all up after work tomorrow. then order the bits bobs i need, etc. other than this, its just brake lines, clutch/throttle cables and cooler/boost pipes. only got a couple weeks, so gotta crack on!!!

update with pics and stuff will be up tomorrow when i get back from the garage.
