cheers bud, just getting them onto the lappy now.

perhaps this will be ratty after all............... :D

Ratty sleeper though!

this is true lol. think the bonnet is staying red for now. at least until the car is done. if it looks crap, then will spray straight away. rather put my time into getting it running tbh, hence the rattyness! :)

cheers :afro:

Tbh mate, i would keep it ratty until you can afford a good spray job. I like ratty mk3's, think they look awesome.

Aslong as there no rust, whats the problem with a few odd colours. It has a turbo!

haha cheers m8. just gotta think f*ck it and do it. yeah it costs money and it would be much easier to have just bought a mk4 1.8t......... but thats just not thinking sensibly now is it :D :D

yeah, it should drop right in, using the mounts that are there. im running a solid front engine mount too.

cheers :)

It has been matt blacked

Few more parts that were acquired:

22mm master cylinder

solid front engine mount

replacement pcv hose and mk4 pas pulley

powerflex bushes for the rear beam and front subframe

1.8t 90amp alternator

Also got new ball joints, fuel pump and a vw vr splitter. and also a vr6 rad, which is A LOT bigger than my 1.4 one lol.

Hoping to get it done in the next couple weeks. dont really put the time in tbh. out pretty much every nite or with the missus.

cheers :)
