£1000 or £12...... hard choice.

thats just it. get what you pay for.

i put in a few hours of work + 12pk of matt back cans (although i only used like 7/8 and i did engine bay) + sandpaper/water + tape/newspaper

beauty of it is i can sand it down later on to smooth it off. even give it another coat if need be. any scratches can be sanded/sprayed over.

if you really can be bothered, even take your handles/seals/doors, etc off. but all that can be done at a later date.

matt black is a really easy to find in loads of diy shops, etc, so its hard to run out of it and the color match should be spot on all the time.

ohh and the option of making it a mint spray job is always there. sand it down (taking your time and getting it right!) then laquer. get it done professionally if need be.

LL ;)

started looking into the wiring today. 1.8t loom needs 5 wires spliced in. 12v, tacho, fuel pump and coolant temp (2  wires). also got a shift light which i will wire a led onto.

the hard part is trying to figure out what wires i dont need and what i do need.

can i get rid of all the wires leading from the engine loom to the ecu?

i think this will require two heads to figure it out. always better doing stuff like this that way.

As for other news, sprayed a normal front bumper matt black and also sprayed my oem grill matt black. so that covers all the spraying. will need to go over it, spray more, etc at some point.

ohh and i did some organising of the garage LOL!
