i was flushed and replaced less than 100miles ago... but it did coincide with switching the heating on and it was sat for a while... I will check it out later

Even though it was flushed recently is it still running clear?  You may have free'd up some gunk since driving it and that maybe your smell.....

maybe... there were prawns at the BBQ we were at

thing is... I thought the mrs was making a meal of it on the way home when she was in the back... then the little one woke up in the passenger seat and said 'phwoarrr... whats that smell of fish? smells like salmon..'

I was catching big whiffs of it occasionally
