fairly sure a rocker cover gasket shouldn't look like this  :laugh:

so I replaced it

then decided to try to sort out the ever falling off door handle...  :laugh:

the problem lies in that the white clips won't hold in the door frame itself due to them being manhandled in the past

the top of the handle wasn't being gripped by this little fella at all...

so I removed it and squeezed the back of the clip to make it grip, this seemed to work on the top of the handle

i got two new (well... I say new.. they were off an old door) clips from CQ's

returned to base.. put it all back together... and it lasted about 5 mins (approx two door closures)

so Chuff stepped in with some metal tape.. this has been placed over the gash holes in the door to hold the clips in place..  its a temporary job until we can find something more permanent but should see us through the next couple of weeks

i had a thought about them for a better fix.  wheres the old ones ?

in the cubby hole just in front of the gear lever

Battery reconnected
Rivage emerged from the garage
all lights checked,
suction pad rear view mirror applied
Fuel can getting filled as i type
Somewhat out of date tax disc removed
and finally

FINGERS CROSSED  :grin:
