Good going.......  whats next?

all went smoothly, under his instruction, the student learnt lots and the car started easy enough and ran like a dream!!

OK, nice try, now out with the disaster that *actually* happened....

Yeah.... there's always something!....  pah, not even a vapour ignition or a faulty axle stand!

no, seriously... it was a relatively dull day for chuff and frankers*  :undecided:

*but I am still buzzing that the old girl is running sweet

wasn't that long ago it last ran though was it?....... either way they do stand well. try 6 years and not even in the car, first click of the key once the electrics were back in.

12 months almost to the day since she last ran

still to do...

lower wishbones and ball joints
suspenshun and springs
gear linkages (its loose as a goose still)

then new roof and headlining, rear window surround
interior work, steering wheel re-trim, upholstery repair
cosmetic exterior - bumper respray etc

Didn't think it needed that much, but then with your detailing skills i suppose I was too busy looking at that.

the roof has had it, its knackered and it needs to be sorted once and for all

bumpers have been poorly sprayed in the past

mechanicals etc all need to be done to make it safe... then it'll be MOT time!

When are you coming to the Island then?
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

Roadtrip

It's 80 miles from Oxford.

That's a poor road trip.

Let me know when the pair of you are coming.  I'll break out the first aid kit and recovery equipment....
