Gave guy a lift this arvo to pick this up and it's a cool set of wheels. Looked awesome following him back with the hood down and his hair flapping about.

well... it needs new lights... the three genuine lights that are in the grille are cracked/stone chipped, the other is an imposter and a different colour to the others  - i might just get clear 'crystal' lights... but need to find the right ones/quality first

roof, wheel refurb, alarm and tunes are topping the list at the moment..

i kinda like the hair all over look... although I was looking at one of the hottuning ones last night?

fuel filler neck is knackered... where is the best place for a new one?

and can anyone recommend a new hood supplier/fitter pls

Are you staying with four lights?
i looked at a few of the crystals and no offence to anyone who has them, but there are a few cheap looking ones..
I have been looking at the smoked ones from Germany :undecided:

Haven't seen them ones tbh..

Your talking £80+ for a cabriolet one, I have just purchased a tintop for about £35 from Euro which I am going to adapt to fit. look here - http://www.vwgolfmk1.org.uk/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=43

Do a forum search for hood as there has been a few topics regarding it

yeah.. staying with the four lights and if i can't find anything of decent quality then I will just get new standard ones... i hate cheap lights so won't buy crap as you only have to replace them again

will search... that will please rhyso!
