What ones did you go for?

Pagid discs and pads, had the rears done end of last year and had no issues with them so went with the same at the front.

Picked up the VW Clubsport S slightly thicker Anti roll bar for the rear. Will fit at some point when I fancy climbing underneath, I know it will be a subtle change, 15-20% approx, but might just add a little to the turn in.

 

Also have one of these in my Garage ready to go on. Changing the bushes on the rear arms while I'm there.

did it on my old mk7, its was worth it, but a bit of a faff

Been looking at this with a view to getting one, but it appears my CS40 with DCC should already have the thicker (5Q0511305BA) anti-roll bar fitted as standard.

The external diameter of GTI PP/CS/CSS are all, I think, 21.7mm, they're hollow bars and the difference is the wall thickness 3.0mm or 3.6mm.

Racing line coil packs, in red for an extra +5bhp
Did a ‘recharge’ on the K&N panel filter, had done around 35k since it was new, and surprising how much crud came out of it.

Also, more recently, stripped the back of the car and boot out, to seal up the rear pressure vents as they were letting water in. Wheel well had about 2 inches of water, and under the back seats had also collected around an inch… I did wonder why the car started smelling a bit foisty.

All in all, everything fixed up. Carpets taken in, cleaned and dried as were the rear bench seats. She’s sitting on 92k and is feeling better for a bit of TLC

I think thats correct, the clubsport bar isn't CS or CSS specific either as it fits other VAG cars, even fitted to Audi Q3's!

11/16mm spacers fitted today. Mildly concerned that the fronts are going to rub with the 235s fitted but we’ll see what happens. Might have to do the arch screw mod if it runs.
