Has anyone used the higher output LED's in their reverse lights?....and if so was there much difference in comparisdon with the lower output items.

I want a set for the wife's GTD but dont want to end up purchasing inferior LED's and ending up with loads of useless LED's bulbs! :rolleyes:

Anyone recommend a good set of LED's for  reverse lights? :wink:

I have the higher ones in but nothing to make against, and in other news found my car mat, I know you were all worried, for some reason I'd put it on top on the other one behind the drivers seat. Doh! Also, whose going to inters this year?

Done some more VCDS coding to get the car set up the way I like it.

Automatic coming home rather than flashing your lights.

Auto dimming of the DRLs when indicating to turn like the Audis.

Puddle lights on regardless of position of door mirror.

Interestingly the full rear lights come on when I get out the car (coming home) but as soon as I lock the car, the inner lights go off only leaving the outer lights on!!

You can change this with VCDS too! I have it "fixed".... Don't ask me how though!
Another good one, you can set all the rear LEDs to come on for braking. Only the outers work by default.

Thanks. Yeah I had already activated that, makes it so much better.

You must have had coding to change the inner lights staying on after locking the doors as the coding for the lights is a bit of a minefield.

Andy the R looks amazing mate! I've just ordered the ceramic gtechniq kit for Bev's new beetle. Great results, roll on November 2015 so I can get mine ordered!
