I took have used the less brighter LED bulbs for the reversing lights and they are good enough :)
Ordered the brighter set for the front indicators to fit and already got my Philips BlueVision for the static cornering lights (55w H7).

Anybody if we can get LED replacement for the glovebox halogen Toshiba bulb? :(

At the risk of sounding a bit thick. Which 'less brighter Led' is everyone using for the reversing light. I am going to fit my osram cornering lights today may even look at the LEDs for the reversing lights and also order the led for the glove compartment considering its a different bulb

Have a look at page five of this thread mate.
And the last few pages where you'll find the brighter LED's which cost £15.
The less bright ones are £10.

I don't know which LED bulb will fit my glovebox :(

I believe the LED you need for the glove box is a 501 type. Pretty standard bulb & should be plenty on ebay

Just to clear up the last few posts:

The bulb types for the indicators & reverse lights are H21W (links below, Thanks to Monsta )
Less Bright ones -
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141121710841?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649&clk_rvr_id=564938014684&afsrc=1

Vid of them used as indicators - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i40jrE8FNTg

More recent discovered brighter version for indicators/reverse lights -
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370886793297?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649&clk_rvr_id=564928086690&afsrc=1

Bulb types to change on the GTI/GTD:
Vanity Lights: Festoon 38mm LED
Boot Light: Festoon 42mm LED
Glove Box Light: 501 also known as W5W LED
Corner Light: H7 (Can get LED versions now but most hav stuck to halogen)
Indicator: H21W LED
Reverse Light: H21W LED

Hope this helps
I had most of the above from my Scirocco so haven't got any links to the bulbs I have used

Cheers for the information guys,
Will the following be ok for my glovebox?
http://bit.ly/19vWWS8

I assume people have stuck with bulbs for the static H7's due to LED's still not matching their outputs? :)

They are cool and keep the car looking clean at the back only issue my brother in law has with his is that you can't drop the boot floor with it in

Finally got round to installing the static cornering lights. True to his word, jimble, wasn't that difficult. Bit awkward in the freezing conditions.

On to dinner at my brothers in Leicester.

Even though it's Xmas and I said I wouldn't do anything I got bored and removed the restrictive 'snow' protector (if that's even what it is) for the air filter box. Pipercross panel filter should be breathing better for the new year. Here's the pic, not sure what its for but it's not needed, compared to my Leon the inside of the airbox stays incredibly clean, must be how the pipes are positioned
