Solid White Touch Up Paint - Free to a Good Home
« on: 05 April 2015, 19:58 »
Should probably put this in the 'For Sale' section but here seemed to be the most sensible place - and I am giving it away! No longer needed as I've swapped my white GTI for a silver one. Cover the postage costs via PayPal and it's yours.

Mods - I fully understand if this gets moved.

Ooohhh! I could make good use of that if someone hasn't beaten me to it.

You are the first in line Sir. Can you drop me a PM with your details and I'll do the same.? No idea what the postage will be but I'll get it sent and let you know.

Any pics of your silver one? I've ordered a silver. Seems a rare GTI colour?

Some can be seen here:

It really is a great colour and hard to believe it's now one of the rarest colours. Contrasts really well with the wheels and red details on the front of the car. I also think it shows off the lines of the car brilliantly I've also noticed loads of people giving the car a second look - probably more than my previous car which was a Cayman. I'm going to view that as a good thing!

Took loads more pictures today so let me know if you need more to whet your appetite. What have you gone for? Spec? Three / five door?

I ordered a 5 door DSG Performance, cloth seats, I'm in Ireland and got a free tech pack because I ordered in Q1, regular nav, reverse camera, media in, auto light assist. I'm BW19, our plates change on July 1st so I hope to collect that day.
Your car looks great. I'm delighted I picked silver

Same offer as the OP's own - but for a Tornado Red touch-up stick with the clear lacquer top coat - Lapiz R imminent so I will have no further use of them. Any takers?
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....
MK7 R 5 door, manual, Lapiz Blue, Prets.

Yes, there's a lot of reading between ridiculous waiting times and asking VW not to supply slippery Bridgestones. Nothing surprises me with VW these days, following the farcial order mix up between mine and my dad's GTDs that saw mine come 9 weeks later than planned in 2013, looks like the R has beaten it.

But what are you to do? I can't think of a car i'd otherwise own at a similar price-point, except possibly an S3, but Audi aren't exactly belting those out in 8-10 weeks either unfortunately. It's a good job the MK7 Golf is so good, otherwise i'd have never had the patience for it.
