Hi all,
I have tried to search, but don't seem to know how one can tell what software is installed on the RNS510? On my Audi RNS-E, there is a page that tells you the software and the DVD installed, but even VAG-COM does not seem to report that I need to know!
Thanks,
Sam

press the 'set up' button for about 30 secs or more, it will scroll through 2 frames before reaching the 'hidden menu' page. This is mine on the firmware page.

Thing is, on a cold boot, I get the SWL message, although it does still boot:

Sorry. Think this was down to me doing the three button restart (not a cold boot) and, hence, putting it in to SWL mode!

im having the same problem.. can anyone help?

I think I've read elsewhere that this 'hidden screen' is only available on software above a certain version; which may explain why you can't get it if yours in an earlier one?

I had the same problem on my VW rns510 ,
I just put a software for video in motion in it from the link below. Now I am able to view my version by pressing and holding setup button.

You can only get into it if the 'Setup Menu' option is enabled!
You can enable it with a VCDS... but using a VCDS you can see what version you're on anyway :nerd:
