I've just jacked up the front, and there seems to be alot of play when gently turning the wheel back and forth, and there's a kind of clacking noise as the driveshaft engages.... There dosn't seem to be much play when I push and pull the wheel and it spins smoothly.....  :undecided:

Although I know abit about mechanics I'm no pro, so any advice is appreciated.

It turned out to be the gearbox mounting! All sorted now and alot cheaper than a gearbox!!!  :smiley:
