I know how ya feel, I'm always thinking about what next on my golfy!

For example!!!

My car will be visiting the bodyshop again soon!  My friend ryan opened the door of his 200sx into my drivers door the night before GTI International on Sunday..lovely chip, anyhoo I noticed an imperfection int he paint work from when I first had my doors resprayed so I took it back to them.

SO:-
Both doors re sprayed.
Wing mirrors colour coded.
Small spots of rust in various places repaired.
Smooth boot - Wiper and jet removed.

All for £100 - £120, bargain! But why stop there ..???!!

Gonna have my grill spoiler, door guards and smooth boot handle sprayed up, won't be much, will prolly spray them for free anyways.

Sprinter vent - £25
To weld and spray - £30 to £50

Cut holes out for my fog lights and buy brackets and looms (anyone got any?)

Buy a boot solenoid! £10 - £15???

Also buying a new engine and tax in august! Planning on having it all done by Festival :D

Overall coming to a total of £515. Not bad I must say, if anyone got any money saving ideas it would be much appreciated!

Another little update!

Bought another 1.6 driver last week, as another donor car, tis in light blue on F reg, big bumpers with front splitter and rear diffuser, 15 inch alloys pretty scuffed, single gti back box, smoked rear lights, new discs, pads and shoes still in the boxes and a full tank of petrol! Got it for £60  8)

Also I took a couple pics of my golfy with a new mod  :D The single de badged grill and grill spoiler that came off this blue golf!! yay! Still looks wierd to me though!

What do you guys think?

I'm with blue, single headlamp grille, but ditch the headlamp spoiler, otherwise looking v nice!

Got it and replied ;)

I tried it without the spoiler but I hated it lol looked like it had a shocked expression on it's face !

I'm gonna keep both as I can't decide either, gary might want a change every now and then!!

Next mod will be central locking..YAY!!! Then into the bodyshop, yeah baby!

Cheers!

OK, I need someones help... Anyone do me a list of what tools, equipment and parts that I would need to replace for swapping over a 1.6 carb to a 1.8 carb.

How long would it take?
