I was hoping for any advice on what is wrong with my golf.
Pretty much what happens is that it happens randomly, no matter what speed, cruise control, or something else activates, and the acceleration starts dropping to 0, the accelerator pedal does not work, and the car starts slowing down. Solutions that work to fix this include:
- Pressing stop pedal (sometimes does not help but helps around 85% of times)
- Clicking any of the arrows of the cruise control switch (up or down)
- Changing the gear or just putting from fifth to neutral and back to fifth, for example.
Once any of these steps are performed, the accelerator pedal starts working again. I even completely disabled the cruise control via VCDS, but this issue still happens.
Any advice on what could be the issue and how to fix it would be much appreciated.
