Quick wheel alignment session last night.

Drives straight now, which is nice.

Finally got the last few bubbles of air out of the brakes tonight - now a nice firm pedal and ABS triggers as it should.

Partial re-test tomorrow.

Which wheels?

15s with 50 profile tyres?

16s with 45 profile tyres? They need media blasting and repainting.

Both set needs new tyres.

Just looked at the costs of tyres - 195/50 R15 vs 195/45 R16

Uniroyal Rainsport3 in both sizes - £36 for the 15s and £56 for the 16s!

A little light servicing tonight.  Oil and filter change and then swapped out these:

For these

Doesn't like being drowned - gets a right hump on and needs to sit for a couple of minutes after immersion, as it won't rev up, just gives what can only be described as an almighty lambda cycle.

Probably replace the crank sensor to try and sort that out and check the engine loom carefully.

The 16" multi spoke wheels look better but the 15" tyre price is certainly more appealing.

Mine has just started doing this aswell. If I leave it to idle it runs rough for a while.
If I drive straight away it's fine

I bet it's the b*starding crank sensor.  I'll let you know when I've replaced mine... might not be for a couple of weeks, unless it gets worse.
