Hi Jimmy. Don't think it can be fixed with VCDS, you'll need a restore disk. What version where you going from, to.

Hi, I've tried a restore disc it didn't register.  Going from version 3*** to 5238(I think) and V11 maps.

Gave it a wash on Friday
Took it for a B road blast to Blenheim palace to see the coys classic car auction.
Unfortunately it looked a bit lost among the motors in the car park!
Wonder if the mk6 will ever become a classic.....

My eBay special turned up and its actually much better than i expected. All the welds are very strong and neat, the whole constructions of the exhaust is excellent.

Heat wrapped the top third to help keep the heat in. Getting it installed on Friday and Revo Stage 2 map on Saturday, should get me some more BHP and Torque in the mid range.

Heat wrapped:

MK6 GTI CSG | Revo Stage 2 | Revo Stage 2 Intake | Milltek 3" TB Exhaust | SuperPro Anti Lift Kit | H&R ARB's | Bilstein B12 | TT Short Shifter |Mintex M1144 Race Pads | HEL Braided Lines |

MK5 GTI - DSG + Extras (Sold because DSG was Soooo Boring !!!)

Had minor service done plus brake fluid change. Never understood why that's not included in a major service. But all for 158 and at VW so can't complain too much.

That's a good price.  Had my minor service today - £149 (no brake fluid change needed)

Had an Up! as my courtesy car - nippy little city car but trumped by the Golf R in the showroom

VW seem to be keen on price matching these days, that's how I got them to quote me 99 for minor service rather than 149.
