Title: Cancelled finance within 14 days and they cancelled GAP insurance?

Hi, my partner picked up a new A1 yesterday and paid off the finance today, but after she had committed to paying it off the woman on the phone said that’s the finance cancelled and the GAP insurance which she never mentioned before.

I did not think they could cancel the GAP as she had paid for it? Does anyone know if that is correct?

Doesn't sound right if it's been paid for separately it has nothing to do with how the car was financed - briefly or not.

Doesn't sound right, they are separate surely?

Get the money back and try Direct Gap. 2 years cover on my GTI was £139 I think.

Any news on this ? Did they reinstate the Gap insurance or did you get it elsewhere?
