I bought an AGM battery from Amazon, £125 (now gone up to £143), the dealer quoted me £247 for a replacement EFB battery. Fitted and coded it myself, but I have got VCDS that I bought some while ago/
This is the one I bought: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bosch-0-092-S5-A-080-Rechargeable-Starter-Battery/dp/B00SJ97O6W/?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_w=io2wy&pf_rd_p=dc48a86e-e8e6-463b-b5a6-be2ccfb37ec3&pf_rd_r=BHVV8446W1GKM4NGRCZX&pd_rd_r=4892d4d2-a7af-44ce-bcf8-2883f6681a63&pd_rd_wg=7nVlC&ref_=pd_gw_ci_mcx_mr_hp_d
You need to code it in the gateway.Essentially three adaptation channels, battery type (wet, efb, agm), capacity (Ah), serial number and if your manufacturer exists as a choice then that too. Not that the manufacturer matters much I think.Stick to the CAN/UDS guide on here:http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Battery_ReplacementYou don't need to use the actual serial number, this just needs to be changed, e.g. by adding 1 to the existing one.
How much should I look to pay for OBD 11?
