Its odd thta on the website overview its states (half leather seats) and when you configure and as per list above, its full leather only for UK.

Shame as I'm not keen on the full leather option, its too dark.

I'd love one of these but the cost is a bit eye-watering.... perhaps I just haven't got my head round the fact that everything is expensive these days!

I think it comes pretty well spec'd as standard, although I'd have liked to have seen an upgrade from the RCD310 to a RCD510, including DAB. I also note it's now not possible to have the Dynaudio unless you fit one of the RNS units, which seems a bit mean to me!

I spec'd a 3 door Candy White with the standard grey wheels (which I think look ace) along with the RCD510, DAB, Flat Tyre Indicator, Colour MFD and 3 year Service pack and it comes to £28,634..... GULP!

Bloody hell! I've just specced an Edition 35 to the same as my current GTI and it gave me a price of £31,994  VW pricing has gone mental, for that I might just as well purchase an R which would at least give me Awd for my money.

Sorry VW as much as I quite like the idea of the newest model out there, I shall be keeping my hands deep within my pockets, this car to me is just not worth nearly £32 grand.

I shall hang on and see what the mk7 GTI looks like or move on to another brand - dare I say Audi

^^^^ i think its priced fair  compared to a normal gti, if you add xenons 18" wheels theres only roughly £500 in it, plus if you get leather ( not clear this if full or part) even better value.

P.s i think all gti's R's ed35 are overpriced this is gti v ed35

I think it is unfair to compare the price of the edition35 too what someone may have paid a year or more ago for a GTI.
All car companys have increased priced alot in the past year or two.

Here we go again, shoot some poor fecking sod down for voicing their opinion.

This is the main reason why I can't be arsed to join in much with discussions on this forum anymore.

Think I shall just view from afar and not bother with anymore postings.
