Absolutely love the car!!!!

You got spacers on those rear wheels Ben? They almost sit flush with the arches. Mine sit way inboard and look gash!

Was in the dealers thinking of boys names that start with V for VW. The funny thing is I have a son called Jack so together they are Jack & Victor after the main characters in the best Scottish comedy of all time "Still Game" didn't realise this until last night.

Coming back through the Tyne tunnel tonight after my first day in my new job (i'm knackered!), I was side by side with my old Rising Blue Scirocco ND11 OJT. Doing 80 where I could on the motorway for my 24 mile commute, the car did 30.0mpg there and 29.3mpg back, and the "since fill" mpg figure is still climbing (slightly), even though it was marginally higher than either of these figures before today.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

Pretty good for an R  MH, much better than I would have anticipated :-)

Must be the time of year - I got the best ever out of my GTD last Saturday - 65.2mpg - on a 33 mile trip....

It's a German car. Call it Valhalla or Volka. The latter is a good Teutonic name, the former is the hall where the god Odin lived. Or just call it Wolfgang as it was born in Wolfsburg. All Golfs are Wolfgangs.
