Just fitted a set of Michelin pilot sport 4S's to mine (19s)
Much better than the original p zeros
Hope they last as long.
Black circles had a flash sale good to keep am eye on there site have them quite often.

My PS4S on my last car still had some life in them after 19k+ miles when I sold the car. I had 20k miles from my P-Zeros before them.

Can I ask how much you paid per tyre for a PS4S?

I thought I'd check them out to see how much they are for 18" and can't seem to get them below £160!

Pretty sure I'll be changing to PS4's at £89 each when the time comes.

Is that just the tyre price?

I am fairly sure my last PS4 18's fitted to my GTD were something like 120ish each.

Yep, PS4's on 18" via Blackcircles are currently £87 fitted.

They are £100 each and then they have 15% off the total.

Reviving this one.

What's the story on tyres now as I'm due 4 tyres soon and would rather be on the look out for deals.

Current prices for 225/35R19's are:
Continental Sport Contact 7 - £630.28
Michelin Pilot Sports 4S - £615.03 (with a 15% off voucher)
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 - £638.20
I'd say Pilot Sport 5 but I don't believe they're available in 225 yet

So all around the same, which is the best? I'm currently running the Pilot Sport 4S's which I'm happy with but are the new Goodyear and Continentals better in driving feedback & grip?

Have a look on Asda tyres.

Goodyear aassymetric 6 are £153 per tyre but if you buy 4 they give you a £40 amazon voucher.

That is an all-in price.

Have you looked into 235's size increase? From reading they offer some extra rim protection and no loss in feel or performance. Obviously it's not standard size so it could be argued that there's risks with insurance and the speedo will be out very slightly. Oddly I found that these were slightly cheaper in that size compared to standard.

Is the Pilot Sport 4S not a superior tyre to the PS4 or 5 and classed as an Ultra High Performance tyre (previously classified as super sports)? Likely they will bring out PS5S out at some point?

My money would go on Michelin from previous tyre experience, they seem to just do everything well. Although that can be very subjective and different from rim size to car models!

Have a look at the guy that does tyre reviews on youtube, there's probably a video comparing these tyres. (Found this after a quick search)

From a glance, looks like the Conti's won but not sure if it mentions rate of wear!

Got to agree with everything Rich62 says there.

The MPS 4S is the GTI of tyres.
I’ll need some new fronts soon and if there was a contender that had actually moved the game on I’d dive in and buy a full set of those, but I’m far from convinced there is so won’t be hesitating to buy Michelin 4S’s again.
235’s will be fine for sure on a 7.5” width rim saving a bit of £€

Wouldn’t bother with the 235’s personally. Engineers paid more than me decided that 225 was the correct tyre size for a 7.5j wide alloy on a GTI.

I’ll get the rest of summer out of this set then I’ll have my winters on so I’ll wait through winter to see if there’s any better deals or news about the PS5S coming out. Continental are meant to be top dog now but with aqua planing but Michelin edge it in the dry so bit of a mute point for me.
