MK 2 GOLF GTI 16V KR engine. Coolant temperature light regularly flashes red in built up traffic. Needle moves up and down normally and not towards maximum. Fan kicks in OK and cools it down and light goes out. Performance is fine. New water pump, fresh correct spec coolant and new temperature sender installed. Is this normal and/ or can you get different spec temp senders please.
