i heard is computer software that can connect to a golf via its serial port to diagnose problems and to reset faults....maybe im wrong but they were chatting about it at clubgti forum

Ive got it , just havn't got the cable yet . Looks ok , and could save you some money in the long run on those pain the ar*e faults.

the cable is about 45 quid . The reason for this is the connector to the ECU and also you need opto-isolators on it. The software is available from the above mentioned site on a shareweare trial. Then you need to get the reg key ..... wonder how
