Mk2 16v cold start up problems

Hi there, my mk2 16v high tech has a problem on cold start up.
It has to spin for ages before starts up, and then the idle is fine but has a bad response when i accelerate.
I have to wait till it warms up, otherwise the response is bad, very chokey. When its warm the car runs and starts fine with any problem.
I have already change th 5th injector but the problem remains.

No I didn't. Do you think it could be the problem?

Mine used to do something similar. The timing was quite a bit out, plus it was running a bit too lean. They prefer to run a little richer than some MOT stations are happy to let through.
