After getting sent to Canada for 4 months not a lot has happened to the golf, allthough I did manage to get my hands on a set of genisis 415cc injectors while I was out there, one more piece of the hybrid puzzle. Finally got tired of the factory speakers this weekend so I treated myself to a nice set of JL Audio c2-650 6.5" components, I would post some pics of the install but it's completely stealth using all the factory mounting points, getting the tweeters in was a b!tch! Was worth the effort as they sound pretty amazing! Hopefully now I'm back in the uk I'll be able to get some more done, pennies depending!

Found a pretty epic leak at my steering rack today, so I decided to treat myself to an Audi tt steering rack, the guy I bought it from also had a set of lcr brembo brakes up for grabs, decided to take them off his hands also, just got to wait for them in the post now!

TT quick rack fitted, pain in the ass job, 5 hours in total after dealing with some seriously rusted in ball joints and a lack of air tools! But after getting it all fitted it was worth it! Car feels a lot more 'sporty' now. Steering is a little heavier but its much more responsive and you get a lot more feed back from the road. Cupra S brembo's next!!!

Big package arrived today, containing pretty much an entire suspension and brake setup. Eibach anti roll bars, eibach springs, bilstien b8 shocks, 323mm ebc ultimax front discs, ferodo ds2500 pads, braided brake lines. Just gotta finish respraying my LCR brembo's now. Misses really wasnt happy, but I told her it was for safety reasons!

Happy new year! Spent today changing a wheel bearing with a hangover. Not a lot of fun. But my car sounds like a train! After stripping the old bearing down I discovered that one of the inner races had split in 2! Here's the offending item
