Title: Adding Door Warning Lights to the Volkswagen Golf

The door controller is part of the Electric window motor, and is served by a FB plug that has 32 pins.

Pin 18 is Door warning live and 19 is ground.

1K0 947 411 A (1K0947411A) - Door Warning Light (1 per door)
1J0 971 972 (1J0971972) - Connector Housing (1 per door)
000 979 019 (000979019) - Repair Wire for Connector Housing above (1 per door)
000 979 009 (000979009) - Repair Wire for 32 pin plug (1 required per door)

Would I use the same pins for the puddle lights in the door mirrors Doc?
I feel another mod coming on :p

I read a coment on there from an R32 owner that said the door controllers maybe the simple ones and so not work for this mod or a few others. Do you know if this can only be fitted to the cars with folding mirrors/Luxury pack, or can it also be fitted to the basic spec cars? :sad:

They use the same pin locations as my Audi which is NOT fitted with the lux pack or folding mirrors.

I'd say it would work just fine on yours :afro:

I know nothing, the information above is all glued together I'm afraid, if I do it I'll post a proper how to, but I can't see me doing it as I'm all modded out  :wink:
