i will check the log book tomorrow when i pick it up.
Guy on my black special it has got a decal running along the rear quater panel saying black special, i cantsee one on yours, did it have one?

my Rivage does have decals... but they are shoddy replicas... gunning for some genuine ones in the near future

^^^ bet they're hard to come by.... Mine needs new rear badges but since the RLR one is irreplaceable I'm going to attempt to redurb them.  What are yours made out of?

some chap on the mk1 forum does ones which are apparently spot on

not sure what they're made of... but they're coming off when i start the cosmetic refurb anyway, so i can polish and then add the stone chip protectors on the clipper kit  :wink:

That's kind of what I was getting at when I was asking what they were made of...  Easier to reproduce then. :afro:  wonder if I could get plastic badges replicated cheap enough............

What's the stuff in the link then, some kind of film?

Rivages were not fitted with stone chip foils, so they tend to suffer paint loss on rear arch covers.
Confusing with the Mk's as there is no MK2 Cabby it went straight to the MK3 shape later. The MK1 Cabby had a facelift at the same year time as the tin top, around 1988. It was given the big bumper or clipper kit.
They also did the all white edition too.

LOl deffo not.

Guy I retail stone foils etc on the MK1 OC and have supplied a few sets in clear without the dots on to other Rivage owners, so it shows the base colour through.
If you  fancy some just give me a shout.
The Guy who did the Rivage decals which were spot on has left the MK1 OC, which is a shame as he is a top man.
His Rivage is outstanding.
