Personally I'd just ring up one more time and if he can't/won't come to the phone, simply ask to speak immediately to the dealer principal. I guarantee you'll get to speak to someone, whether it be the dealer principal or the salesman when he gets a bit 50p/20p.

It's just another example of how the attitude of some salesman change once they've got the commission from the sale. What they don't realise is that's the sort of thing that's going to stop the customer coming back next time.

That worked a treat. Called again and asked for the dealer principal and they put me through to the sales manager instead. I explained the situation to him. He said 'leave it with me'  kid you not less than 5 mins later my salesman emailed me back with the time

Lol

Thanks for everyones help!

Glad it worked - I had a problem when the Vauxhall main dealer changed the tyres on my old Astra VXR (on OEM 19s). They took a massive chunk out of one of them fitting the first tyre. I was confused as to why they took the 2nd one to a local specialist tyre fitter. When I got the car home and washed off all the tyre soap, I was welcomed with a massive chunk out of the rim.

Service manager was "Well, prove it wasn't there before you brought it in" to which I replied "Can I speak to the dealer principal please" which resulted in a "We'll order a new wheel for you sir".
