do you need to upgrade brakes or anything else to handle the improved power?

if it jus  a remap then the standard brakes should be fine ,when the brakes need to replace then jus get a performance ones no need to change it straight away ....

I'd recommend the 312mm set-up.  Big improvement for such an easy mod.

You only need the discs & carriers - You use your existing calipers & pads (unless your putting on brand new 312 discs, which would mean you should put brand new pads on, too).

If you want to keep the 288 set-up, then just buy some decent pads such as some Ferodo DS2500's.......  But then, they should be decent for the £125 the front set costs!!!

Ps  Don't be fooled into buying some over-priced, fancy grooved/drilled discs, BTW - Just get some good old cheap, plain, vented Brembo's or the like, from places like GSF etc.
