Title: 21 and want to insure my mk2 gti!!

new tot he forum but ive been searching for quotes and not had much look i want the golf as a second car like a project so after classic car insurance or something along those lights that wont be so expensive as i wont be driving no more then 15000 miles a year

can anyone recommend and places please?

classic policies dont normally

1, allow such a high mileage - mine is limited to 3,000. - 15,000 is huge and more than most people have on daily policies. :shocked:

2, some companies dont allow people under 25 to have classic policies.

try the companies that sponsor the forum, but dont rule out comparison sites too, i got a better deal from one.

We have some great schemes for GTis that will cater for modifications as well.

As people have said above the 15k miles a year is to high to qualify for classic policies as the average miles for an everyday commuter is 10k. But even still we should be able to offer you a competitive price.
