Welded my bonnet notch then sanded and smoothed off bonnet
Changed side light bulbs
Test fitted new front bumper
Fitted Anni valance to new bumper
Started to prep wings

Fitted Passat wing mirror switch.  Used a connector out of a Polo.


It looked green before I got it wired in and I got used to the idea, but then it illuminated red!  :grin:

Cleaned,sanded and gave them a few coats,its not as red as it looks in pics its the crappy flash on my phone now to finish them off and talk my wife into letting me put them in the cooker,as it says on the tins of paint it needs to be heated to 160 for 30-60 mins hopefully that will give it a glossy look as just now its matt ish

underneath of inlet done,throttlebody painted just got to finish cleaning inside of it,basically if i get a speedy response to a question on ukmkIV's about the pcv simplification i'll be ready to bake the red parts and rebuild tomorrow

stared at the mk4  :cool:

replaced fuel filter, air filter on mk3  :rolleyes: still cutting out issue  :undecided:

smashed crankshells on the wifes focus

all in a days work  :smiley:
